I had my father's CT scan as he's having issues in his legs and hands.. The CT scan marks :- Mucosal Thickening is seen in the right sphenoid sinus There's a generalised prominence of sulci, gyri and cisternal spaces- suggestive of diffuse age related parenchymal atrophy. Impression: Mild diffuse neuroparenchymal atrophy. Can you please guide what does that mean, is it serous? What should be our next step? Symptoms are: weak and numb legs bellow the knee. Unsteady hands and confusion ...

The CT scan is normal for his age. Nothing serious in that report you mentioned. You need to take him to a Neurologist/ Neurosurgeon for proper evaluation and investigations.
