Hello Doctor, My husband has had fever from last 6 days, fever reduced on 4th day but, he has light headedness and nausea tic sensation from last 2 days, his platelet count is reducing from 1.88 a week back to 1.27 today, pls let us know what kind of fever it is, Denge test came negative a week back

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Just follow the medicines suggested by the doctor properly and go for regular follow ups. Platelets don't just fall because of dengue, many other viral fever can also cause a fall in the platelets. Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.
