I had a small white spot on the border of eyeball which is pinguecula which was said by a eye doctor in practo for rupees 500 consultation fees he prescribes systane eye drops. does systane eye drops cure pinguecula

Pinguecula is made of fat deposition on the ocular surface commonly seen in people exposed to sun exposure or outdoor environment. Systane drops might not remove it, but it will definitely help in resolving any foreign body sensation or irritation because of the same.

Hi.. Pinguecula is harmless, but will not go . No intervention required. If becomes red, can be treated . If cosmetically very bothering, can be excised. Wear sunglasses with UV protection.
