Sun protection and sun avoidance are the most important factors for your problem. Please use a sunscreen on the full face with SPF 30 or higher every day. Consult a doctor for detailed history and assessment. Ask the doctor for prescription creams to lighten the spots and improve skin health & appearance. Clinical treatments such as peels and lasers are available for faster cosmetic correction.
Next Steps
Use a sunscreen everyday 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 3 to 4 hours. 1 teaspoonful of sunscreen is needed to adequately cover the full face and neck.
Health Tips
Sun protection (through sunscreens, hats, goggles and full sleeved clothing) along with sun avoidance ( will help to prevent sun damage (which shows as dark spots, wrinkles, sunburnt or leathery appearance etc) as well as to prevent skin cancers.
