Hello, I have a concern regarding a medicine recommended my dermatologist. I went to the doctor to treat my pigmentation on face and the doctor prescribed a medicine V MET SR 500. Please let me know the uses. How it improves my skin

Most probably it is metformin. It decreases insulin induced pigmentation
