My relatives have a pet dog which when around I get continuous sneezing and watery eyes. I have a 5 month old baby now, will it be safe to expose the infant to the dog ?

You might be allergic to dog fur. Allergies are sometimes hereditary. If the baby also has the allergy from the dog fur, he/she might develop also develop sneezing and cough. If there is an option to keep the baby away, one should.
