I have taken regestrone 3 times a day for 5 days as prescribed by a doctor. It has been over 7 days and yet my periods didn't start. Kindly suggest what can be done as I have functions in next 2 days.

Ist check pregnancy test,if it's negative and if your Endometrial thickness is less than 6mm, only progesterones won't help. You hav to take combination of oestrogen and progesterone which wil be available as oral contraceptive pills. Then u ll get it cycles.
