My periods are delayed 12 days.my pregnancy test report is also negative..what is the reason for periods getting delayed..what should I do..pls suggest .

Periods can be delayed because of irregular intake of ocp/emergency pill, hormonal problems (thyroid/prolactin disorder/pcos) Get another urine pregancy test done. If that is negative start tab deviry (10mg) twice a day for 5 days and wait for 12-14 days for menses to resume. In the meanwhile get thyroid profile and fasting prolactin done.
