Period while taking duphaston

Hello, I had IUI on 24th Dec, till yesterday night I took Duphaston. Felt little spotting yesterday night. But no actual flow. Lower abdomen is cramping intermittently and breast feels tender and heavy. Is this a sign of period approaching. Negative home pregnancy test yesterday morning. Thanks in advance.
