Pelvic ultrasound small follicles seen

My pelvic ultrasound is normal. It shows both the ovaries appear normal, small follicles seen. No ovary cyst.. What are small follicles? Is ut abnormal or cause problem in conceiving? My uterus is normal ET 7mm. Age 27
