Peculiar throat pain

For the past one and half month I have been experiencing throat pain which is at specific location of my throat. Whenever I try to swallow somethings I feel this pain even when there was no sign of any infection. During any infection the pain would be still high. I took some antibiotics as per my doctor's advice. My infection was cleared but the pain is still there. I am worried if this is a sign of throat cancer. Do I need urgent medical intervention?

Hello..... If you don't have habit of gutka or pan don't worry about cancer... Chances is less.. Even ulcer beneath tongue causes pain while swallowing... I'm cold or throat infection pain stays for sometime... Consult ent specialist in nearest hospital......
