PECD surgery

Hi all, My dad is having neck pain from 2 years, after taking MRI report says 1) left lateral protrusion at C4-c5 2) right protrusion at c5-c6 mild degree cord compression He is having left hand pain in large amount. He is taking lyrica 75mg tab Any suggestions does PECD surgery help him??

Is he also having weakness in the hand? if that is the case then please get the surgery if the power of the hand is ok and the muscles are ok then you may continue trying for medical management as long as the medicines help.  when the medicine stop helping then you may go for surgery
