My son is one year old and having VSD since his birth.2 Dr said size is 6mm and 1 Dr said it is 8 mm. opinion of the Dr is divided some doctors advised that it has to be closed immediately since this is one year old and and it is not closed yet, while other says I can wait for 2 more years if it not closed by its own than operation can be done. now I am confused what should I do.please help me.

How symptomatic is your kid.. How is his weight gain. Send detailed echo report. Surgery is decided not on size of vsd but on symptoms and condition( valve function and chamber size)of heart on echo.
