Hi dr. My baby boy is 1.6 months old. Now i m giving him normal filter water which we drink earlier I used to give him boiled water. Now he is passing stool daily for 4 to 6 times after his every meal he will do potty. Is this happening because of water or anything else. He is active and taking feeds well plz suggest

1.6months old baby you are not supposed to give anything else but breastfeeding not even water. And passing stools after every meal in newborn babies is normal it is due to gastrocolic reflex. As long as child feeds well and is passing urine and is active you have nothing to worry about.
