Partial ACL tear

Dear doctors, I am currently in Canada, and my MRI results indicate that I have a High-grade partial, functional likely full-thickness tear in the mid ACL of my right leg. I've been fitted with braces and advised to undergo physiotherapy. They plan to reassess my condition in two months to determine if surgery will be necessary. However, I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about the timeline for this follow-up. Do I really need surgery, or is it possible that the physiotherapy will help me recover?
