Pains in my hand and leg joints

I have been having pains in my leg and hand joints for over 7days, I was diagnosed to have malaria and am currently treating it but it seems there is more to this as I have never experienced malaria this way before. I use pain relief but I feel this pains once a while. I am suspecting that my heart is not pumping required blood to my organs. Yesterday night I could not sleep because I was having short breathe.
