Painful urination

It started 2 days ago. At first I experienced pain while urinating and it continued for almost a day. Then I had fever along with it for another day. Now the fever is gone but the painful urination still continues. If I don't drink a lot of water the urine is thick yellow with no trace of blood. Please advice.
