I am feeling a stinging pain under tongue the muscle that connects the tongue to the mouth bed. It also has turned red. I started feeling this after I brushed my teeth today.

hello you have probably bruised the tissue in that region. either during eating or brushing.  pls visit a dentist for the appropriate medical care.  an ointment can be then prescribed but only after examination of that area
