Pain swallowing

Hello, I feel pain on right side of my throat whenever i swallow (mainly saliva, not food), previously when i swallowed it felt like somethings clicking in my throat. I also smoke cigarettes (5-6 a day). Sometimes i also have thorny sensations in my throat. Does it have anything to do with throat cancer ? I am very afraid, looking for an opinion. Thanks in advance

You seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. Smoking can induce this condition. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
