2020-04-20 03:23:01
From past 3 days while I chew or make movement of the jaw, the area just under the ears is paining. I don't have any tooth pain or sensitivity but the region from mid ears to just below the ears pain when chewing food. Is there anything that I should be worried about?

Hi, this kind of pain can be due to 1. Your upper wisdom teeth, which might be in odd position and causing irritation to your TMJOINT. You are too young to have any arthritic change in the joint, do it has to be tendinitis around the joints. Do hot and cold water fermentation with napkins alternatively for 15 mins in the morning and evening. Do not strain your jaws by opening too wide. Eat soft food for a week. 2. Could be because of some discrepancy in your teeth occlusion- is how the teeth are meeting, contacting when the jaws come in contact. For this can be corrected by dentists. 3. Should get mouth guard made for yourself to protect the Jaw joint

your history is suggestive of either TMJ issues/ salivary gland infection of tooth ache. I would suggest you have a video consultation/ personal chat consultation either with oral diagnostician or oral surgeon. please simply don't take medications and avoid any hot water fermentation etc until that.
Next Steps
have a personal / video chat with a specialist
