There is a constant mild pain in my right ear and also in my tonsils. It feels more at the time of swelling.

You might have had a throat infection of tonsils which causes referred pain to ear . Start doing warm salt water gargling three to four times a day. Consult Ent specialist to confirm tonsil infection and take the respective medication.
