Pain in thigh area

My mother is having alot pain in her thigh area which is un tolerable, day before yesterday she was sitting whole night in a chair and praying namaz, after that she is not able to be in standing position, when ever she stands she is complaining that something is twitching and her nerve is getting to cut out she feels like, while in laying there is only little pain but in standing and walking pain is in extreme level, so she is bending a little bit and walking for bathroom that too in pain. She is also having osteoarthritis Grade 3 in left Knee and the pain of thigh is also on left side. I also massage her unwnowkingly with a massager and now the pain is even more. What is these what to do, doctor told muscle spasm and given myofree 4 thrice and gabapin nt 300 at night is it OK. How many days it will take is it serious
