Pain from testicular torsion doesn't reduce on its own. What you might have had was an intermittent torsion which caused the sudden pain and swelling. It is bound to happen again and might result in testicular torsion and other complications. It is advisable that you go and consult a surgeon and get yourself examined properly. He might suggest some tests like ultrasound of scrotum and others. Do not ignore the testicular pain it might cause other serious problems. Don't feel shy or embarrassed to visit a doctor.
