Pain in stomach

I had a mild pain at the the left side of my stomach most of the time. Sometimes pain at chest. I am a regular smokers and I also consume alcohol.

It is possible that the chest pain could be due to hyperacidity causing gastritis but you should rule out any cardiac involvement for which you will require an ECG. You would require an antacid and the following steps may help with your condition: - Don't skip meals, you may not feel like eating but in such conditions you should have the reduced amount in frequent intervals(i.e. 3 square meals broken down to 5 or 6 as you can tolerate) and slowly increase as you get better. - Reduce/ Avoid spicy,fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day - Exercise regularly (30-45 mins/day) - Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation/tai-chi.

hello. left side stomach pain and chest pain is usually gastritis. since you smoke and consume alcohol, chances of you getting gastritis is high which could turn to ulcer as well. kindly do a full body check up and is possible a ultrasound abdomen and consult a physician. if your chest pain is significant you might need an ecg. to determine that you need to consult a physician.
