2020-11-16 18:14:27
Whenever i sleep after few moments severe pain starts in my right buttock portion to thigh, in such a way that I can't move or change my side or sleeping posture. Also while sitting after standing for a long time the pain arises in that portion. What should i do? Do i need exercise or medicine?. I have history of any orthopaedic mishaps.

Looks like your back problem. Can be treated medically. Avoid bending and lifting heavy weights. Painkillers If still have issues consult. Thanks

Was there any history of jerk or injury over that region of thigh. This type of pain may be sometimes  associated with nerve root compression. Is there any tingling numbness in lower limbs or any difficulty in walking because of pain..
Next Steps
You may start with back strengthening exercises,  start hot fomentation over right thigh and buttock region, take vit B12, calcium and vitamin d supplements. Take analgesic if pain is significant.  If the problem is persistent, you may plan to get some investigations like MRI to rule out any nerve compression at spinal cord level..
Health Tips
Avoid heavy work,  avoid sitting down,  avoid Indian toilet..
