My son is 27 years old. Playing volleyball etc..on Sat.& sonday Had pain in right leg knee. We had done MRI The report says " There is evidence of complex bucket - handle tear of the medical meniscus as described above mild knee synovitis is seen with effusion and suprapatellar bursitis. Pl. Suggest what treatment do

Hi, If the patient has clinical symptoms of locking pain and swelling, then he needs meniscectomy arthroscopic ally. Complex tears of meniscus with alter biomechanics of knee which makes knee prone to development of osteoarthritis etc.
