Pain in my tooth

2017-03-27 12:30:27
I have had this tooth ache for sometime now. The tooth is the second from the extreme end on the left-lower part in my mouth. The last time I visited the Dentist they recommended an extraction as the teeth had gone bad. While eating food one day, a part of the tooth broke and fell off. I get frequent pain but the painkiller takes care of the same. Will extraction pain a lot? Will it bleed? How soon will I be fine?

Hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. pain could be due to infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. if it cannot be saved then you need to get it removed. it is done under anesthesia so it should be painless. get it done from an oral surgeon.

Painkillers is a temporary option. As a permanent solution the tooth has to be extracted. You will be given local anaesthetia while extraction so there wont be any pain and bleeding will be minimal. The extraction socket will heal in 2-3 weeks.
