Pain in left shoulder while riding bike

Only my left shoulder pains when I'm riding a bike. This pain is more when I'm tired and riding bike. I go to college on my bike in the morning there is negligible pain but while coming back the pain is irritating and sometimes unbearable. What could be the possible causes for this? What should i do to relieve myself from this pain. However once i get back home and relax the pain fades away.
