Pain in joints  and swalling in face

My mother was diagnosed for ESR test and value of ESR was found 78mm and c reactive protein 0.48 mg/dl is this normal and what should be done further

Such high ESR as 78mm should not be ignored. Patient must be investigated and a cause for it must be found out & there after treated accordingly.
