I am experiencing pain during intercourse since 1 week. Is it normal or there are chances of some infection?

Yes definitely its not normal. Dyspareunia or pain during intercourse could be because of infection , pelvic inflammatory diseases , endometriosis , ovarian cysts , adenomyosis etc. Get yourself examined and get an ultrasound done too
