Pain at lower abdomen while working

Hi, my wife is pregnant in 23 weeks. While cooking food (that requires standing up and sitting down for much time, sometimes in quick succession) her lower abdomen hurts (pains), pain stays for sometime and goes away when she takes rest (lie down). Reports were normal when checked last week. Is it normal during pregnancy or anything to worry about?
