Pain after rct

2018-10-26 12:06:06
Hi! I've had my obturation done 3 months back. Now, I'm feeling a bit pain on that tooth. Not a prolonged or severe pain but a mild pain that lasts for seconds. Is this some kind of a major problem?

Usually a slight discomfort can be there post obturation.. it is during initial days after finishing root canal... anything after 3 months,we need to clinically check and do the needful

If you have not done capping then pain could be due to food impaction. Get an X-ray done to rule out reinfection. Treatment depends on the cause of pain. The tooth can also fracture sometimes. Clinical examination required for proper diagnosis

Pain shld not technically last this long. Kindly check for proper bite (occlusion) and check the rct and tooth health using an  x  ray
