Can oxymeter reading change like I had it on my finger for Sometime and it showed 97 96 97 Is it normal for this to change

Yes it is normal but if it falls below 90% external oxygen supply needs to be supplemented.intrumental error can be evalvated by checking saturation of a healthy person and if the saturation is within normal limits your intruement is also  working fine.
