Its a dark outgrowth on the right side of the nail on my right thumb. Has been there for over 2 months now. Initially, I didn't take it seriously and cut the extra growth using a nailcutter, however it keeps growing and is painful at times if i press it. It's like a rubbery black fungal growth from the look of it
