Are your family members dentists? Or medical professionals? If you think their advice is better for you than what your doctor has suggested then please do not get any treatment done.
What is the side effects of tooth extraction? And who has told you about these side effects?
Extraction of teeth during orthodontia is most often necessary. This creates space to move teeth. If the dentist thought that extraction of 2 teeth would have been enough, why would he suggest extracting 4? Obviously extracting 2 teeth will not give you the results you require.
Instead of asking more family members, take an opinion of another dentist to confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan. And take your parents with you so that the dentist can explain to you and them, the reasons for extraction along with the entire orthodontic procedure.
Don't look for shortcuts and half solutions if you want good, long lasting results. And don't get any treatment done if you don't trust that your medical professional is doing what is best for you.
