Opinion on continuing Pragaba-nt

2020-08-24 15:22:14
I've been taking Pragaba-nt for 2 days now, and it makes me dizzy, as it is one of the symptoms of the drug I don't have a problem with that, because I take it at night before bed. I did some research on this medicine and found out how addictive it can be and that there are withdrawal symptoms after you stop using it. I'm afraid that i might get addicted to it. I was prescribed to take it for a month. I'm not sure that it'll help my problem. Or if it is useful to take this medicine at all. I don't feel any difference. My question is: Should I continue this medication for as long as its prescribed or should I not take it?

If u didn't find benefit then either dose needs to be increased . Or diagnosis needs to be reconsidered.

Hello Practo User, May i ask you what for are you taking this medicine? If you are prescribed this medicine for back pain , please discontinue it immediately. This is like any other pain medication but with unfortunate side effects. First the cause of your pain needs to be determined and treated accordingly, rather than using such medications. Regards.

You can continue for one month . It won't be addictive,  dizziness is common in early doses with pregabalin but if it persists then you should stop and consult accordingly
