I do not mean to scare you but OCD is one of the tougher Psychiatric illnesses to treat and the treatment goes on for more than a year in most cases and you must be very careful not to stop the medication or decrease the prescribed dose without consulting your Psychiatrist. I hope you have also been taking Psychotherapy sessions because both the medicines and the therapy will help you get rid of the disease better.

Don't stop medications without your doctors advice If needed at all, don't stop abruptly

Please don’t change the doses without doctor’s advice. There’s a proper course if treatment and OCD requires long term treatment. Sudden stoppage of medications can lead to worsening of symptoms.

Sometimes it's take a time ..OCD will take sometime one year also , so no need to hurry , ocd happens because of some chemical insufficiency , so we give the medicine that balance those chemical , so sometimes it takes a time , have patience, don't decrease dose early as it will increase your all over treatment duration

Take the advice of your treating psychiatrist before deciding on stopping the medication.

6 months is too short period to stop medicine for ocd
