OCD and Depression
Sir I am student my Psychiatrist prescribe me -
In morning Psyvoxin 50 (Fluvoxamine 50)
In night Psyvoxin 50 and half tab of syconil 25mg (clomipramine)
My problem is that when I take Psyvoxin 50 alone in morning my anxiety increase so much...so I decided to change dose of my medicines according as -
In morning Psyvoxin 50 (Fluvoxamine 50) and 1/4 tab of syconil 25
In night Psyvoxin 50 and 1/4 tab of syconil 25mg (clomipramine).
Now my anxiety is low as compared to before.And I am feeling very comfortable with this...
Is this ok
Proper history is required for determining adequate dose of the medication. For only anxiety Fluvoxamine and clomipramine are not preferred drugs.. If the anxiety is related to OCD the dose needs to be increased.
And yes, low dose clomipramine may be used as an augmenting agent.

If u r suffering from anxiety other than OCD small doses of fluvoxamine will help u,but if u r suffering from OCD u need to take adequate doses of fluvoxamine which u r currently not taking.u can continue with small doses of clomipramine as augmenting agent.
