Sir I am student.due to overthinking (daydreaming) my short term memory was not working.I was not able to recall what's is going around me just 2 min before. I forget everything. My brain was not working. I think it's Alzheimer's disease. When I went to Psychiatrist he made diagnosis of OCD. Is this diagnosis is correct.

Hello, the diagnosis is not what one can get at this point of time. The diagnosis doesn't define you in anyway. Alzheimer's starts at a very later age, so this can't be that. With respect to OCD- let's also have a look at other symptoms of yours and then decide on your diagnosis. For now, I feel you should take therapy. I am available. Feel free to contact me through practo or other social media apps where I go by same name. Hope this helps. Takecare

Dear, This is definitely not Alzheimer's. Now it can be OCD because people have these complaints in OCD( overthinking then forgetfulness) but for diagnosing OCD there are other parameters. But you should also rule out Hypothyroidism.. Rest consult psychiatrist.
