Not drinking milk properly weight less

Good evening doctor, my daughter is 4 months 18days old her birth weight was 2.5kg yesterday current weight is 5.83kg and she's on breastmilk since birth am breastfeeding my baby not using formula milk but still shes not gaining weight also she drinks very less milk each breast less than 7mins and gap of3 to 4 hours also from past two weeks shes not taking proper feed is this normal? Please reply what to do feb 13 she will complete her 5th month so by march 1st week can I give her semi solid fruit puree and breastmilk on and off in a day ? Pls help thank toh

Hello,if baby is gaining weight,then no need to worry .gradually the duration of breastfeeding decreases and frequency also.But of baby is not gaining weight then it might be that mother milk is insufficient so you can start complementary feeding.kindly consult in detail for further opinion.
