6 months is too short a time to judge your ability to get
pregnant. According to international guidelines if both partners are young and physically healthy and your periods are regular you have a 90% chance of conceiving in the first two years of attempting to conceive. You need to be having intercourse 2 to 3 times a week and take folic acid to help with the baby's neural tube when you do conceive. Apart from this there are no specific issues you need to worry about. As good practice it is helpful if you or your partner fo not smoke or drink alcohol and maintain a healthy diet and exercise regime when attempting to conceive.
