Parosmia is a part of Covid infection. It is very irritating as long as it is there but it passes off spontaneously. Not much help from medicines.

What you're experiencing is Parosmia. It is a olfactory dysfunction which is quite common in covid patients and it can be managed with antibiotics and a few other medications. It generally take 4-6 weeks for the sense of smell to become normal with the help of these medications. Consult for better management.
