What is the normal breathing rate of 5 month old baby...while sleeping... And while awake ... Google is too confusing...

Maximum 50 respiratory rate in 1minute. There is periodic breathing so inbetween breath can be rapid and sometimes too long a gap, so always count for 1 minute total.
