My son is 4 years old and don't properly responds to most of the instructions which other children of same age can easily understand and respond. Not able to form proper sentences while speaking. Not able to socialize with other children. Not able to write properly although he is able to read. He is very stubborn He does not give any response to the questions asked to him Keep producing strange sounds all day. We are really worried about his studies and behavioral health. What shall we do, please suggest. Shall we visit a psychologist or a psychiatrist?

Mam please consult a paediatric ENT doctor first before consulting a psychiatrist. Once he get clearance from ENT that he is doing good with his hearing then you can consult a child psychiatrist as mentioned above. ENT consultation is mandatory.
