Node near right rib
I'm 19 years old and I smoke regularly. Since past few months, there has developed a small node near my right rib. It hurts when it is pressed. Could it be a sign of cancer? Please let me know. Thank you.

19 years is usually not cancer, and node which is painful is usually infection and not cancer.. Kindly take an antibiotic course for seven days and if it goes off.. it's infection... if it does not it needs to be investigated by a biopsy
