No periods after taking regestrone

I have PCOD and my last date was in December 2023. As my doctor previously prescribed the regestrone tablet to trigger the period. I took the 10 tablets, as per prescription and there is no sign of periods. Please suggest what to do.

Period will come after 8 to10 days of stopping medicine if the dose was adequate.
