No gestational sac at 8th week

Hi, I have irregular periods, LMP was 15th sep, on 28th Oct I took UPT and it showed positive. Got my scanning done on 7th Nov. In scanning report shows their is no gestational sac present. What could be the reason for it. This is my second pregnancy, like last pregnancy even this time I don't have any symptoms except breast tenderness.
