Next course of action after fissure LIS
What in case if fissure recurrs after months or a year of laser LIS surgery even after taking care of constipation and diet. Whats the next course of action-procedure as a part of surgery ? Again LIS to be done for relaxing spinchter ?
Fissure in ano usually occurs as a result of constipation and local infection. If laser lis was done and there is recurrence, we need to see the anatomy… that is the location of the abnormal tract and the length of it and its course. Only then we can determine the treatment plan. But yes another procedure is required to correct the condition again.
