For past 1 week my father is feeling lil uncomfortable with neck and throat. It's like he is feeling his veins of neck and throat are tightened. He can't brush cuz opening full jaw is not possible. Can't sleep on a pillow it's getting uncomfortable and cannot stretch his neck.. Is it connected to thyroid? Thank you.

No its not related to thyroid as per your explanation. May be some cervical problem. Regards.
