Hello there! I understand how difficult it might be to deal with negativity, fear, emotional imbalance, self destructive thoughts and actions and low self esteem. Thinking of multiple problem situations can get very frustrating, so I suggest that you look at your concerns one by one. The best solution to all your concerns is to go for therapy. CBT also known as Cognitive Behavioural therapy is a type of talk therapy that will help you replace your unhealthy thoughts with healthy ones. CBT has had great results in terms of helping people manage negativity. There are also other types of therapy that might suit your needs and consulting a psychologist will guide you through.Therapy would also help you remove irrational fears, and manage unresolved emotions, emotional imbalance and low self esteem better. In addition to therapy you can also do the followings things alongside it to help yourself:
Maintain a thought journal - Maintaining a thought journal will help you express all your emotions and also help you to identify your triggers. Sometimes , just venting it all out will make you feel a lot better.
Surround yourself with positive people - Positive people are infectious! Spending more time with people who are cheerful and positive can help uplift your mood.
Give yourself time - You are going through multiple struggles and so it is extremely important that you give yourself time to get through them. It is also important to appreciate yourself for the small goals that you achieve while trying to manage your concerns better.
Do something you love - Whether it is reading that excited you or cooking that does it, make sure to find time to do what excites you! It will mostly leave you feeling good about yourself and improve your mood.
Practise mindfulness - This almost always works itâs magic on your mood. The effects of mindfulness are truly underrated, so the next time you feel low or negative try practising mindfulness for at least fifteen minutes.
Reach out for help - Trying to handle too many things might become a little too much at times. Make sure to reach out to your friends and family for support. Trust me, it makes all the difference!
Donât give up! Good things are coming your way!
